Job Title: Patient Access Representative
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Hourly Rate: $22/hr
Work Environment: Health Center
Location: Boston, MA (onsite)

Description:

• Welcome patients warmly and accurately register them in the practice system.
• Manage insurance verification and appointment scheduling.
• Handle cash collections and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Handle daily cash collections according to Finance Department policies, including copayments, deductibles, and self-pay balances.
• Stay updated on insurance plans and requirements to ensure proper information collection for visit claims and manage billing work queues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in healthcare.
• Proficiency in EPIC System and strong communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred.
