7:00 am – Healthy breakfast with fresh fruit, coffee and low fat breakfast
7:30 am – Log on to computer and check email; respond to any urgent emails
7:45 am – 8:45 am – Check employment sites and look for new job postings; apply for appropriate jobs; check social media for possible job leads
8:45 am – 9:00 am – Stretch; take short walk; get blood flowing
9:00 am – Call employment agency representatives; check in and see if they have anything for me
9:30 am – Call potential employers that you sent resumes to three days ago; check in to see if they have any questions
10:00 am – Prepare new round of resumes for companies that don’t have positions listed at the moment
11:00 am – Get up and walk for 15 minutes; get the blood flowing
11:15 am – Mail letters to prospective employers
12:00 pm – Eat a sensible lunch, read a book, take one hour off
1:00 pm – Call and arrange 4 hours of volunteer time for next week
1:30 pm – Take a walk; get the blood flowing
1:45 pm to 3:00 pm – Work on job related skills set; write a new cover letter; check potential employers in nearby cities
3:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Check email and phone again for last minute calls to be made before business ends
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Look for networking opportunities including social events, etc. to build your “Rolodex” of people to help you find work
